Eneref Applauds LumenOptix Founder Jay Goodman for Industry Recognition in Business Retrospective
[NEWS] Eneref Institute, a national organization dedicated to sustainable development, research, and advocacy, is proud to recognize its Senior Fellow Jay Goodman, founder of LumenOptix, a leader in innovative design for the built environment, for being selected to share 25 years of business and life lessons he’s learned in a special presentation of Edison Report and The Pompeo Group.
In the unique spotlight series entitled “What I’ve Learned,” Goodman, an over 25-year veteran of the lighting industry, shares 19 key lessons that have shaped his personal and professional growth and success, from values such as honoring your parents and family to investing in good people, conducting relationships honestly, and not being afraid to “not succeed” (see full coverage here).
A visionary entrepreneur with a long-standing track record of building successful, market-focused companies from the ground-up, Goodman launched LumenOptix – a company born out of a joint venture between Westinghouse Lighting Corp. and Intelligent Lighting Solutions – in early 2011. A prominent industry advocate who has been featured on CEO IntroNet as well as in leading industry publications including LD&A Magazine, Commercial Building Products, electroindustry, and Business in Focus, Goodman is a Gold Sustaining Member of the Illumination Engineering Society of North Ameri ca (IES) and currently serves on executive committees/delegations within such key industry trade associations as NEMA and the National Lighting Bureau. Goodman was appointed a Senior Fellow at the Eneref Institute in 2012.
