Eneref Social Media Strategy

We were just highlighted in an Eneref Report. How can we make the most of it?

PR FOR PLANET EARTH

Let’s collaborate on saving the planet.

Eneref Institute leverages the powerful potential of a market-driven economy to foster corporate social responsibility and a more efficient use of natural resources. If your organization has been featured in an Eneref Report, its because we believe your involvement in the industry is an example of best practices in socially responsible sustainable development.

At no cost, Eneref Institute will work with you to help you launch any of the promotional campaigns listed below about the Eneref Report where you were featured. Our goal and stated mission is to help others follow your example. If your organization is working with a public relations firm this is the page you’ll want to send them to help you make the most out of the Eneref Report where you were highlighted.

Social Media Made Easy

Eneref Reports are touted on social media, with unique posts pulled from the content of the report. Your Eneref Report will get a new unique post every other week. Eneref makes it easy to participate. You can pull up Eneref’s pre-written social media document for the report in which you were highlighted, and simply click on the link and choose to like, share, or comment. You are also welcome to repurpose the Eneref post and paste the text into your own social media account.

Currently Eneref posts on three social media. Visit to learn how your post will appear: LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter.

Send Out a Press Release

At no cost to you, Eneref Institute will author a unique press release written and branded as coming from your organization. Your press release headline will say something like, “Our Organization Was Highlighted in an Eneref Report.” Your release can describe why you were highlighted in an Eneref Report as an example of best practices in socially responsible sustainable development. Since each Eneref Report is rigorously researched and carefully edited, your readers can be assured that your participation in an Eneref Report is valuable to society. Send the release to the media or to your stakeholders.

If you’d like to write your own release, here’s some examples to pull from, Subaru, SW Gas Utility, HED Architects and or use the release to promote a product ALP.

Launch an Email Campaign

You already have a list of stakeholders. We can help you author a short and simple email blast that explains why your organization was highlighted in an Eneref Report as an example of best practices in socially responsible sustainable development. You can invite your stakeholders to read the Eneref Report, with a link to the Eneref Report landing page. (These links are only examples. Ask us for the link to the Eneref Report where your organization was highlighted.)

To keep it simple, you can send out a few emails only to your most important stakeholder, or go full bore and use a company like MailChimp or Constant Contact to create an email blast.

Link the Eneref Report on Your Website

A simple link on your own webpage to the Eneref Report guarantees that your page will always have the most current, up-to-date version of the Eneref Report as continual emendations are made. As we receive feedback from readers, we make ongoing clarifications to Eneref Report.

You can link your website to the Eneref Report landing page, the repot blog post or the PDF of the report itself. (These links are only examples. Ask us for the link to the Eneref Report where your organization was highlighted.)

Include the Eneref Report in Your Newsletter

If you already send out a regular newsletter to stakeholders Eneref can help you create a short blurb that shows off your participation in an Eneref campaign, and why your organization was chosen as an example of best practices. Invite your audience to the Eneref campaign page, and to read the Eneref Report, with a link to the Eneref Report landing page.

Send One-to-One Text Messages

Keep it short and simple, and sent out text messages to a few stakeholders directly from your mobile phone. We’ll give you the short webpage link for the Eneref Report where your organization was highlighted. To make it easy for your stakeholders, each report has an abridged blog page you can send, that links to the full Eneref Report. (These links are only examples. Ask us for the link to the Eneref Report where your organization was highlighted.)

Print Hard Copies for Your Meetings

To reduce paper waste, Eneref does not print reports in large quantities, but instead allows digital printing on an as-needed basis. The award-winning design of Eneref Reports attract attention when printed, and are effective as hand-outs for in-person meetings.

Eneref supplies camera-ready files to our partner EBA Printing, based in Mequon, WI. EBA Printing can ship to any location. We would ask you work directly with EBA Printing and set them up as a vendor. Eneref does not receive a commission. We work with EBA Printing because they meet the high standards we require for print quality, fair pricing and sustainably sourced paper. EBA’s General Manager Perry Streeck is your direct contact.

Go All In on an Eneref Campaign

Publicly join our campaign to encourage socially responsible sustainable development. Every Eneref Report is part of an impact campaign. We invite you to partner with Eneref Institute in furthering the progress of the Eneref campaign, which in turn promotes the report in which your organization was highlighted.

We are a catalyst for change, inspiring solutions that promise a peaceful, earth-friendly economy. We develop impactful campaigns that influence others, with messaging designed to build advocacy for common sense solutions that achieve effective results.
